Both the futures maintained their surge on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Thursday amid rising demand, dealers said. The March vaida commenced on firm note at Rs 410.50. Later, it picked up Rs 2.10 to be day's best at Rs 412.60 and market closed at the same rate. Earlier in the process of trading it lost Rs 2.10 to be day's lowest at Rs 410.50, dealers said.

The May contract opened with Rs 2.80 paisa gain at Rs 420.00. In the process of trading it rose by Rs 3.20 to be day's highest at Rs 423.20 and market settled at the same rate. During the day, it lost Rs3,20 to be day's bottom at Rs 420.00, dealers said.
